Originally hailing from Northern Ireland, I moved to Scotland in 2010 and I have studied, worked and lived here ever since.
I joined the Scottish Government in 2016 and in my current role I work as a communications specialist for the Scottish Rural Network. The SRN encourages rural development by sharing information, ideas and good practice andI’m passionate about engaging with rural communities to make sure their voices are heard and used to influence the policies that affect them.
Since joining the SRN I’ve taken advantage of some incredible opportunities, including travelling and working with international colleagues, facilitating workshops and of course, joining this steering group!
When I’m not out and about in rural Scotland working, you can usually find me there anyway with my rescue dog, Douglas.
